All windows can be opened or closed from outside the vehicle after the doors and trunk/liftgate are closed. The windows can be opened or closed from outside the vehicle regardless of the position of the passenger window lock button, which is located on the driver's door armrest.

It is not possible to operate the electric windows from outside the vehicle in the following cases:
  • one of the side doors or the trunk lid/tailgate is open;
  • the key is inserted into the ignition switch;
  • the starter switch handle is pressed and recessed into the ignition switch (vehicles with a portable map "Advanced Key").

You can open the windows to ventilate the interior before getting into the car. Press and hold the unlock button on the remote control (Fig. 1.88). After the doors, trunk lid and rear tailgate are unlocked, the windows will automatically open fully.

To stop the windows from rolling down, press the release button.

Closing windows

If you left the windows open when you left the car, you can close the windows from outside the car. Press the lock button on the remote control and hold the button down. After the doors lock (rear liftgate) will be blocked, the windows will close.
