All windows can be opened or closed from outside the vehicle after the doors and trunk/liftgate are closed. The windows can be opened or closed from outside the vehicle regardless of the position of the passenger window lock button, which is located on the driver's door armrest.

It is not possible to operate the electric windows from outside the vehicle in the following cases:
  • one of the side doors or the trunk lid/tailgate is open;
  • the key is inserted into the ignition switch;
  • the starter switch handle is pressed and recessed into the ignition switch (vehicles with a portable map "Advanced Key").

You can open the windows to ventilate the interior before getting into the car. To do this, press the unlock button on the remote control (see fig. 1.88) and hold it down. Once the doors, trunk lid and rear liftgate are unlocked, the windows will automatically open fully.

To stop the windows from rolling down, press the release button.

Closing windows

If you left the windows open when you left the vehicle, you can close the windows from outside the vehicle by pressing and holding the lock button on the remote control. Once the doors/liftgate are locked, the windows will close.
