To remove the jack on "sedan" vehicles (fig. 1.164), do the following:
  • remove the cover that covers the jack niche;
  • turn the T-handle counterclockwise to loosen the locking screw.

To remove the jack on "hatchback/station wagon" vehicles (fig. 1.165) do the following:
  • turn the locking handles and remove the side cover;
  • remove the cover that covers the jack niche;
  • turn the T-handle counterclockwise to loosen the locking screw.

Putting the jack into the stowed position is done in the reverse order.
