When working under a vehicle, it must be supported on two or four jack stands unless it is raised on a stationary lift.

Precautions: If you need to work under the car, it must be securely supported with stands, but under no circumstances should it rest solely on the jack. This is life-threatening!

The vehicle should only be lifted and supported when unloaded on a flat, solid surface.

Wheels that remain on the ground when the car is lifted must be supported with a wedge to prevent the car from rolling. Do not rely on the parking brake, as it must be released for some types of repairs.

Support the vehicle with stands so that one of the side supports of the stands is facing outward.

Caution: To avoid damaging the underbody, place a suitable rubber or wooden support under the jack head. Never lift the vehicle by supporting the power unit, front or rear axles, as they can be seriously damaged.

Place the jack under these recesses, with the protrusion on the channel bar fitting into the jack recess. The protrusion in the jack recess should fit into the notch on the channel bar.

Turn the jack handle until the wheel comes off the ground. Support the car with stands.
