Press the button located on the lock (fig. 1.131). If the belt does not retract completely onto the reel, pull the belt out again and check for kinks or twists in the belt webbing. Then feed the belt onto the reel, making sure the webbing does not twist.
Note: If the seat belt does not retract completely onto the retractor, check the webbing for sharp bends or twists. If the webbing is OK and the belt still does not retract properly, have the retractor and seat belt checked by an authorized Mazda dealer.
