To adjust the seat back angle, lean forward slightly (to relieve the back from body weight) and bring the backrest to the desired position by turning the rotary handle. Then lean back to find a comfortable position (fig. 1.115).

To adjust the seat back angle, lean forward slightly (to relieve the back from body weight) and lift the locking lever up. While holding the lever, lean back and bring the backrest to the desired position. Then release the locking lever (fig. 1.116).
Check that the locking lever has returned to its original position and the seatback is securely locked in place by trying to rock the seatback forward and backward.

Note: When returning the reclined seatback to the upright position, support it with your other hand while pressing the release lever. If you do not support the seatback, it may tilt forward suddenly.
