Apply voltage from the positive battery terminal to terminal E or D; connect terminal B to the body ground, check the operation of the windshield wiper motor as shown in table.
Disconnect the positive battery terminal from the E terminal of the electric motor with the windshield wipers operating.
Make sure that the windshield wipers do not stop in their original position.
Connect terminals A and D of the motor and connect terminal C to the positive terminal of the battery.

Make sure that the windscreen wipers operate again at low speed, then stop in the starting position (Fig. 7.56).
If not, replace the windshield wiper motor.
