Replacing low beam headlight bulbs (Mazda 6 GG)

1. Check that the main light switch is in the "Off" position.

2. Raise the hood and determine the location of the lamps installed in the high and low beam headlights from the rear side of the headlight housing.

The lamp located at the edge belongs to the low beam headlight, and the lamp located closer to the center of the car belongs to the high beam headlight.

3. When replacing the bulb in the right headlight, start the engine and turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. Then turn off the engine. If you are replacing the bulb in the left headlight, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.

4. Loosen the screws by turning them counterclockwise and partially remove the mudguard (fig. 1.195).

5. Turn the sealing cap counterclockwise and remove it.

6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp by pulling it back.

7. Unfasten the spring lamp holder (fig. 1.196).

8. Move the spring holder to the side to release the lamp.

9. Carefully remove the lamp from the socket by pulling it backwards.

10. Replace the lamp.

11. Install all parts back into place by performing the above operations in reverse order.
