Remove the rack boot clamp.
Adjust the steering angle by rotating the steering rod.
Note: The travel of the right and left steering rods should be the same.

By rotating the steering rod, ensure that the difference between the dimension L shown in the figure on the right and left is less than the norm (Fig. 4.2).
Standard: 3mm or less.
Tighten the tie rod end lock nut.
Tightening torque: 68.6–98.0 N·m.
Eliminate twisting of the rack cover.
Install and secure the rack boot clamp.
After adjusting the steering angle, always check and adjust the toe angle.
