The front suspension (Fig. 4.10) is equipped with McPherson struts. The upper end of each strut/spring assembly is attached to a special panel of the car body. The lower end of the strut assembly is attached to the upper end of the steering knuckle (its pivot arm). The steering knuckle is connected by a ball joint to the outer end of the lower suspension arm. All models are equipped with an anti-roll bar.
Caution! Performing the following procedures without first removing the ABS wheel speed sensor may cause an open circuit in the wiring harness if the harness is accidentally tightened. Remove the ABS wheel speed sensor before performing the following procedures (from the hub side) and fix it in a suitable place where the sensor will not be damaged by mistake during maintenance.
