Removal and installation the ignition switch (Mazda 3 BK)

Note: Remove the lock only for replacement. In this case, reprogramming the immobilizer is not required.

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

Remove the steering column trim.

Disconnect the connector and remove the lock (Fig. 7.71).
