The acid causes skin burns and corrosion, do not allow it to come into contact with clothing or vehicle parts.
If battery acid comes into contact with your skin, eyes or clothing, rinse it off immediately with running water.
Electrolyte density
Measure the density of the electrolyte with a hydrometer.
If the density is less than normal, charge the battery.
Standard density of electrolyte according to hydrometer readings: 1.22–1.29 (at 20°C).
