The engine oil level should be checked every 1,000 km and topped up if necessary. The engine should consume no more than 1 liter of oil per 1,000 km. Higher consumption is a sign of worn out oil-deflecting caps and/or piston rings or seals.

1. When measuring, the car must be on a horizontal surface.

2. The engine must be warmed up.

3. After stopping the engine, wait at least 3 minutes for the oil to drain into the oil pan.

3. After stopping the engine, wait at least 3 minutes for the oil to drain into the oil pan.

4. Remove the oil dipstick from the engine and wipe it with a clean cloth.

5. Insert the rod until it stops and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the "L" and "F" marks. The difference between the upper "F" mark and the lower "L" mark is about 0.8 l.

6. If the level approaches the lower mark, add oil.

7. Oil is poured through the hole in the cylinder head cover. When topping up, use the required grade of oil, do not use any additives.

Caution! Do not fill oil above the "F" mark. Excess oil must be pumped out, otherwise damage to the engine gaskets or catalytic converter may occur.
