2. The hoses must be put on the fittings deep enough.
3. Check the tightness of the hose clamps. If necessary, install screw clamps instead of the previous clamping collars.
4. If the coolant level drops frequently and leaks cannot be located, check with a warm engine. To do this, warm up the engine and leave it to idle until the fan turns on. When doing this, make sure that coolant is escaping in the area of the water pump.
5. Apparent loss of coolant and/or presence of oil in the coolant, as well as a white exhaust cloud when the engine is warm, indicates a defective cylinder head gasket.
Attention! If the leak cannot be found, a pressure test is recommended, see Section Checking the tightness of the cooling system. At the same time, the bypass valve of the lid can also be checked.
