2. The hoses must be placed on the fittings deep enough.
3. Check the tightness of the hose clamps. If necessary, install screw clamps instead of the previous clamps.
4. If the coolant level drops frequently and the leak location cannot be determined, check on a warm engine. To do this, warm up the engine and let it idle until the fan turns on. Watch for coolant coming out in the area of the water pump.
5. Obvious loss of coolant and/or oil in the coolant, as well as a white exhaust cloud when the engine is warm, indicate a defective cylinder head gasket.
Caution: If the leak cannot be located, it is recommended to perform a pressure test, see Section Checking the tightness of the cooling system. At the same time, you can also check the cover bypass valve.
