When measuring, the vehicle must be level.
The engine must run for at least 30 seconds.
After stopping the engine, wait at least 3 minutes for the oil to drain into the sump.
Pull out the dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth.
Insert the dipstick back until it stops and pull it out again.
1. Engine 1.25 / 1.4 l; 2. Engine 1.3L; 3. Diesel.
The probe has two notches corresponding to the marks «MIN» And «MAX». The oil level must be between the marks.
Attention: If the oil level is above the mark «MAX», that is, the risk of damage to the catalyst.
If the oil level is at or below the lower mark, add oil to the upper mark.
Attention: If too much oil has accidentally been poured, then the excess oil must be sucked off using a special tool. Difference between labels «MIN» And «MAX» on the dipstick is 0.5-1.0 liters.
When topping up, use the correct grade of oil and do not use engine oil additives. If possible, add oil of the same brand that is filled in the engine, and do not mix oils of different types. In extreme cases, you can fill in oil of the same brand, but of a different viscosity, which is allowed, to be used at this time of the year.
