Warning! Fill the windshield washer reservoir only with a special liquid intended for the washer, or with clean water. It is dangerous to use low-freeze coolant as a windshield washer fluid. If coolant gets on the windshield, visibility through the glass will deteriorate, which may lead to a traffic accident. Do not turn on the washer without first warming up the windshield. Do not fill the washer reservoir with plain water in the cold season. It is dangerous to use washer fluid in the cold season that freezes at sub-zero ambient temperatures. The washer fluid may freeze on the windshield and dramatically worsen visibility. You may get into a traffic accident.

Press the lever towards you to turn on the windshield washer (Fig. 1.73). The washer will spray fluid onto the windshield as long as the lever is held down.

If the windshield wiper control lever is in the "OFF" or "INT" position (intermittent operation) (option A)/ "AUTO" (automatic operation mode) (option B), then when the washer is turned on, the windshield wiper will operate continuously until the lever is released.
