Warning! It is dangerous to place luggage and other things on the luggage compartment shelf. In the event of a traffic accident or an emergency braking of the vehicle, this baggage may cause injury to the occupants of the vehicle. The car is equipped with a lightweight luggage compartment shelf, which is designed only to hide the contents of the luggage compartment from prying eyes. The luggage compartment shelf is not able to keep enough heavy luggage from shifting (if it is not properly tied in the luggage compartment) in the event of an accident, such as when the vehicle rolls over. Heavy luggage and other items must be securely tied to the cargo loops in the luggage compartment. Before the trip, check the security of the transported luggage and other goods.

When the tailgate is opened, two straps attached to either side of the tailgate raise the rear shelf for easy access to the luggage compartment (pic. 1.30). To gain access to the luggage compartment from the passenger compartment, lift the front section of the luggage rack (pic. 1.31).

Attention! Do not raise the luggage compartment shelf while the vehicle is moving. Do not load the luggage compartment above the level of the shelf (the shelf must be closed). Things carried in the luggage compartment should not interfere with the secure fixation of the shelf latches.

To increase the capacity of the luggage compartment, you can remove the rear shelf. To do this, disconnect the straps, then lift and remove the shelf from the car (pic. 1.32).
