To lock the trunk lid, insert the key into the keyhole and turn it counterclockwise, then return it to its original position and remove it from the lock (Fig. 1.33).
To unlock the trunk lid, insert the key into the keyhole and turn it clockwise, then return it to its original position and remove it from the lock.
Note: The trunk lid lock of a sedan can also be locked and unlocked using the key inserted into the driver's door lock. This will simultaneously unlock or lock all doors of the car.

Caution! If the vehicle is equipped with a rear spoiler, do not use it to lift the trunk lid. Otherwise, the rear spoiler and trunk lid may be damaged.
