Folding the rear seat back (Mazda 3 BK)

While pressing the rear seatback release button, hold the seatback with your other hand. If you do not hold the seatback, it will tilt forward sharply and may injure the finger with which you press the release button.

Caution! Always unbuckle the center seat belt lap strap before folding the left section of the rear seatback. Leaving the lap strap buckled may damage the seat belt, seat belt buckle, and seatback.

1. Unfasten the lap strap of the seat belt installed on the center seat

2. When folding the rear seatback, move the seat belt strap to the side.

3. Support the back with your hand.



4. Press the backrest release button (fig. 1.122).
