To raise the head restraint, pull it up and set it to the desired position. To lower the head restraint, press the locking button, then press the head restraint down and set it to the desired position (fig. 1.125).
Adjust the head restraint so that the top edge of the head restraint cushion is level with the top of the passenger's ear. The top edge of the head restraint cushion should never be level with the passenger's neck.
To remove the head restraint from the seat, press the release button and then pull the head restraint upward.
