Drain the engine coolant.
Loosen the coolant pump pulley bolt to remove the drive belt.
Remove the coolant pump pulley.
Remove the coolant pump.
Perform a visual inspection to ensure that there is no significant contamination or rust on the water pump housing and blades.
Make sure there is no play in the blade shaft and that it rotates freely by hand.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Refill the engine with coolant.

Check for coolant leaks.
