Check if the radiator is clogged with dirt. If necessary, clean the radiator as described below:

Do not bend or damage the radiator fins.

When cleaning the radiator without removing it from the vehicle, remove all adjacent parts: cooling fan, radiator shroud and horns. To prevent water from getting in, wrap the harness and connectors with protective tape.

Water the radiator core from the back side with water from a hose vertically downwards.

Again, pour water over the entire surface of the radiator core (once per minute).

Stop watering when dirty water no longer flows from the radiator.

Blow air through the radiator core from the back side vertically downwards (fig. 2.214).

Apply compressed air at a pressure below 113–142 kPa (1.1–1.4 kg/cm²) and at a distance of more than 30 cm.

Blow air over the entire surface of the radiator core again (once per minute), until the water stops draining.
