Removal
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the bottom cover together with the splash guard.
4. Drain the coolant from the engine.
5. Secure the expansion tank of the cooling system so that it does not interfere with operation.
6. Remove the drive belt.
7. Secure the power steering fluid reservoir so that it does not interfere with operation.
8. Remove the generator.

9. Remove the coolant pump assembly and sealing ring (fig. 2.307).
Installation
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Top up the engine coolant.
Check for coolant leaks.
