Figure 240. Details of removal and installation of a vacuum pump on a diesel engine. 1. Vacuum hose; 2. Drain hose; 3. Inlet hose; 4. Drive belt cover; 5. Vacuum pump; 6. Union nut, 12-18 Nm; 7. Bolt, 80-110 Nm; 8. Bolt, 80-110 Nm; 9. Bolt, 38-53 Nm; 10. Bolt, 19-25 Nm

  • Open the clamp and disconnect the vacuum (1) and drain hoses (2) from the pump.
  • Unscrew the union nut (3) of the pipeline and remove the hose. At the same time, oil is poured out and collected in a suitable container.

Set the drive belt tension. taking advantage of figure 211. If servo control is not installed, the belt tension is measured in the same place.
