Coolant Pump — General Information (Mazda 6 GG)

The coolant pump housing is made of aluminum alloy. The coolant pump is driven by a poly V-belt. The impeller is built into the cylinder block. The coolant pump is maintenance-free and must be replaced as a unit if it malfunctions.
