Removal and installation



1. Remove the cooling fan.

2. Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system (see chapter "Maintenance and general check and adjustment procedures").

3. Remove the coolant pump (1) as shown in the figure.

4. Installation of parts during assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

5. Fill the required amount of coolant into the cooling system and check for leaks (see chapter "Maintenance and general check and adjustment procedures").

Examination



Rotate the pump pulley to make sure the bearing rotates smoothly and quietly. Replace the coolant pump assembly if necessary.
