2. Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system (see chapter "Maintenance and general check and adjustment procedures").
3. Remove the parts in the order they are numbered in the figure.
1 - oil dipstick guide tube assembled with dipstick,
2 - lower radiator hose,
3 - thermostat housing cover,
4 - thermostat.
4. Installation of parts during assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
5. Fill the required amount of coolant into the cooling system and check for leaks (see chapter "Maintenance and general check and adjustment procedures").
Thermostat Installation Note
Install the thermostat into the thermostat cover, aligning the tab on the thermostat gasket with the slot in the thermostat cover.

Examination
Note: Replace the thermostat if its valve remains open at room temperature.
1. Make sure the thermostat valve is not clogged.
2. Immerse the thermostat and thermometer in water. Heat the water gradually.
3. Check the thermostat to ensure it meets the following parameters. Replace the thermostat if necessary.
- Temperature of opening start 80-84°C
- Full opening temperature - 95°C
- Minimum valve lift is 8.5 mm
