Thermostat — removal and installation (Mazda Familia BF)

The thermostat is installed in the housing on the cylinder head next to the ignition distributor sensor.

Check the temperature at which the main valve starts to open and the valve stroke. If there is any deviation from the norm, replace the thermostat. Install the new thermostat with the steam outlet facing upwards (see photo).



Fill the cooling system with fluid, start the engine and check for leaks.
