Attention: before carrying out the procedure, make sure that the engine is cool, in order to avoid burns.
1. Remove the oil pressure switch.
2. Install the pressure gauge as shown in the illustration.
3. Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
4. Set the desired engine speed and record the pressure gauge readings.
Note: Oil pressure may vary depending on oil viscosity and temperature.
- Oil pressure at 2100 rpm - 410 - 570 kPa (4.19-5.81 kg/cm2)
5. If the pressure is not as specified, check the oil pump and oil filter, repair if necessary.
6. Stop the engine and wait until it cools down.
7. Remove the pressure gauge.
8. Apply silicone sealant to the sensor threads as shown.
Note:
- Parts must be installed within the time specified in the instructions for use of the sealant. Otherwise, the sealant must be removed and reapplied.
- Make sure that the sealant does not get on the end of the pressure sensor.
9. Install the oil pressure switch.
- Tightening torque - 12-17 Nm
10. Start the engine and check for oil leakage.
