The electric rear window heater is designed to remove frost, water condensation and thin ice crust.

The rear window heater can only operate when the ignition switch is in the "ON" position (Ignition is on).

Press the switch to turn on the rear window electric heater. The electric heater turns on for about 10-15 minutes and then turns off automatically. When the electric heater is operating, the corresponding indicator lights up (Fig. 8.54).

To force the electric heater to turn off before 10-15 minutes have passed, press the switch again.
