2. If there is a malfunction, first check the fuse in the fuse box.
3. If the fuse is in good condition, check the tightness of the plug on the left and right sides of the rear window and clean it of corrosion if necessary.
4. If the heater does not work, check the wires to the switch, see Chapter Electrical equipment system.
5. Check the operation of the switching relay, see Section Checking the relay.

6. If the heater conductor has a break, a standard silver conductive varnish will help. To do this, clean the repair area with thinner or ethylene.
7. Glue the break on both sides with adhesive tape and apply silver paint with a thin brush.
8. Let the paint dry for 24 hours at a temperature of +25°C. You can also use a hair dryer with hot air. At a temperature of +150°C the paint dries in 30 minutes.
Warning! Do not turn on the rear window defroster until the paint has dried. Do not use gasoline or other solvents for cleaning.
