4. When replacing a terminal in a plug, insert a narrow screwdriver from the open side between the clamping tabs and the terminal. Press the tab upwards and pull the terminal out backwards. Insert the new terminal until it clicks into place. Pull on the cable to ensure that the terminal is securely fastened.
