Disconnecting/connecting the negative battery terminal (Mazda CX-5KE)

Caution: Before removing components of the passive restraint system, it is necessary to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and wait at least one minute to eliminate the backup power source for the airbags.

^*1: For vehicles with i-stop system, if the negative terminal of the battery is disconnected and connected, it is necessary to perform initial settings (i-stop settings) battery status.

^*2: Because the value of "BATT_SOC" before disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery requires initial settings (i-stop settings), write down the value of "BATT_SOC" before disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery.
