A. Open the key. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot and press the release tab to release the key from the remote control (Fig. 1.21).

B. Insert a small screwdriver into the gap, press gently and open the remote control housing.

C. Press the edge of the battery (1) and pull out the battery. If the battery does not come out by pressing it with your finger, use a small screwdriver to pry out the battery.

D. Insert a new battery (CR1620 or equivalent) so that the positive pole (+) marking is located at the bottom. Put the front and back covers of the remote control together and press them down to snap the latches into place. Attach the key to the remote control.
