The additional locking system is designed to prevent children riding in the back seat from accidentally opening the rear doors. If you are transporting a child in the vehicle, always use the additional locking system on both rear doors. To lock the rear door from opening from inside the vehicle, open the door and move the lever up to the locking position (Fig. 1.25).
