To open the tailgate, insert the key into the keyhole and turn it to the right, or press the tailgate remote control button, then pull the handle up to unlock.

To lock, lower the tailgate with both hands. A dry click means the door is locked. Don't slam the back door. To make sure the door is locked, lift it up slightly.

To close the rear door using the key, turn the key counterclockwise.

To close or unlock the rear door from inside the vehicle, press the button.

Note: If you're opening the rear door in a garage with a low ceiling, use the key to open it and hold it in place with your hand to prevent it from hitting the ceiling.




Carefully!
  • To avoid exhaust gases entering the passenger compartment, do not drive with the trunk lid open.
  • Be careful when closing the rear door. There is a risk of pinching.

To lock or unlock from the outside:

  • To lock, press the lock button.

Pull the handle towards you and turn it clockwise. Then push the rear door to open.

Carefully!
  • Make sure the rear door is properly closed and locked if the third seat is used.
  • Ensure that passengers do not touch the rear door lock button or handle while the vehicle is moving, as the rear door may open and injure passengers.
