Pull the handle towards you and lift the trunk (Fig. 1.27).
If the battery of a vehicle equipped with a remote control and central locking is discharged or the electrical equipment is faulty and you cannot unlock the trunk lid lock, perform the following operations to unlock the lock manually.

Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the plug located on the inner trim panel of the luggage compartment lid (Fig. 1.28).

Move the lever to the right to unlock the trunk lock (Fig. 1.29).
