Three seconds after the vehicle doors and trunk lid or rear tailgate are closed and the wearable card "Advanced Key" is outside the system's operating area, the side doors and the trunk lid or rear tailgate will be automatically locked. The direction indicators will flash once (even if the driver with the wearable card is within the system's coverage area, all doors will be automatically locked after approximately 30 seconds).

If you leave the system coverage area while carrying a wearable card before all doors and the trunk or tailgate are closed, the automatic locking function will not operate. The automatic locking function will also not operate if the driver with the wearable card leaves the system coverage area while another wearable card is left in the vehicle. Always make sure that all doors and the trunk or tailgate are locked before leaving the vehicle. The automatic locking function does not provide for the simultaneous closing of the vehicle windows.

After unlocking the doors using the integrated lock or unlock button, all doors and the trunk lid or tailgate will be automatically locked again if none of the following actions occur within 30 seconds:
  • one of the side doors, or the trunk lid, or the rear tailgate is open;
  • an auxiliary key is inserted into the ignition switch;
  • the starter switch handle is pressed.
