- LOCK (0) - Blocking position. With the key removed, the electrical system does not function.

- START (III) - Engine starting.

- Do not set the key in the steering wheel lock to position "LOCK (ABOUT) " or "ACC (I) " while the car is moving.
- The steering lock system cannot replace the parking brake. Before getting out of the car, set the gearshift lever to the position "R" (parking) for automatic transmission, or I (first) for a manual transmission, apply the parking brake and stop the engine. If these precautions are not taken, the vehicle may "break loose" from place.
- Do not put your hand through the steering hole when inserting the key into the steering wheel lock. You may get hurt.
Attention! If your vehicle is equipped with power steering, never turn the steering wheel left or right against resistance for more than 5 seconds. There is a risk of damage to the power steering pump. Do not leave the key in the steering wheel lock in position "ON (II) " if the engine is not running. The battery is discharging.
