- LOCK (0) - Lock position. When the key is removed, the electrical system does not function.
- ACC (I) - Unlock position, electrical equipment is ready for operation.
- ON (II) - Unlock position, electrical equipment is ready for operation.
- START (III) - Engine starting.

If the key in the steering wheel lock is difficult to turn, turn the steering wheel right and left while turning the key to the "ON(ll)" position.
Carefully!
- Do not turn the steering wheel lock key to the "LOCK (O)" or "ACC (I)" position while the vehicle is moving.
- The steering lock system cannot replace the parking brake. Before leaving the car, place the gearshift lever in the "P" (park) position for an automatic transmission, or I (first) for a manual transmission, apply the parking brake and stop the engine. If these precautions are not taken, the vehicle may run away.
- Do not insert your hand through the steering hole when inserting the key into the steering wheel lock. You may get injured.
Caution! If your vehicle is equipped with power steering, never turn the steering wheel left or right against resistance for more than 5 seconds. This could damage the power steering pump. Do not leave the key in the steering wheel lock in the "ON(II)" position if the engine is not running. The battery is running low.
