To adjust the steering wheel in the longitudinal direction and inclination angle, do the following: (fig. 1.112).
1. Stop the vehicle and push down the release lever located under the steering column.
2. Set the steering wheel to the desired tilt and/or adjust it longitudinally, then move the lever to the upper position to lock the steering column.
3. Before starting to drive, push the steering wheel up and down to make sure that the steering column is securely locked.
