Battery versions with petrol engines:
1. Negative battery terminal.

Note: When removing the battery, do not place it on the connector of the engine control unit and do not hit the connector with the battery - this may damage the connector or the control unit.
Remove the battery, referring to the general view drawing above.
To remove the battery with the box, tilt the battery as shown in the figure.
To remove the battery shelf, do the following:
Versions with petrol engines
Remove the air filter with air intake and air hoses as an assembly.
Loosen the bolt and nut securing the wire harness protection to the battery tray.
Loosen the three mounting bolts so that the battery shelf can move freely.
Unhook the wiring harness clamps at the three points shown in the illustration and remove the battery tray with the engine control unit.
In case of replacing the battery shelf with a new one, remove the engine control unit and move it to a new shelf.
Versions with diesel engines
Loosen the two air intake bolts shown in the figure.
Slightly lift the air filter and move the battery tray to the side as shown in the figure.
Remove the harness clamp shown in the illustration from the battery tray.
Remove the battery tray.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
Install the battery box with the large groove side facing the engine.
