Note:
- If the number of charges/discharges (work cycles) battery exceeds the set value, the corresponding fault code occurs and the orange i-stop system indicator flashes. In this case, the battery must be replaced with a new one.
- Before replacing the battery, the ECM configuration list must be completed.
Versions without LCD display
After replacing the battery, do the following:
1. Turn on the ignition (engine off).
2. Move the gear lever to neutral position.
3. Press the brake pedal and perform the following operations:
- Depress the accelerator pedal for 5 seconds or longer.
- Verify that the charging system indicator and the main warning indicator are blinking.
- Press and release the accelerator pedal three times.
- Verify that the charging system indicator is on and the main warning indicator is off.
4. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
5. Perform battery initialization (i-stop settings).
Versions with LCD display
1. Close all doors.
2. Turn on the ignition (engine off).
3. If the display shows a warning message, clear the screen with the INFO switch and proceed to the next step.
4. Move the gear lever to neutral position.
5. Press the brake pedal and perform the following operations:
- Depress the accelerator pedal for 5 seconds or longer.
- Verify that the charging system indicator and the main warning indicator are blinking.
- Press and release the accelerator pedal three times.
- Verify that the charging system indicator is on and the main warning indicator is off.
6. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
7. Initialize the battery (i-stop settings).
