Note:
- If the number of charges/discharges (working cycles) exceeds the set value, a corresponding fault code is generated and the orange i-stop indicator starts flashing. In this case, the battery must be replaced with a new one.
- Before replacing the battery, the ECU configuration list must be completed.
Versions without LCD display
After replacing the battery, you must do the following:
1. Turn on the ignition (engine off).
2. Move the gear lever to neutral position.
3. Press the brake pedal and perform the following operations:
- Press the accelerator pedal for 5 seconds or longer.
- Make sure the charging system indicator and main warning indicator are flashing.
- Press and release the accelerator pedal three times.
- Make sure the charging system indicator is on continuously and the main warning indicator is off.
4. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
5. Initialize the battery (i-stop settings).
Versions with LCD display
1. Close all doors.
2. Turn on the ignition (engine off).
3. If a warning message is displayed on the display, clear the screen using the INFO switch and proceed to the next step.
4. Move the gear lever to neutral position.
5. Press the brake pedal and perform the following operations:
- Press the accelerator pedal for 5 seconds or longer.
- Make sure the charging system indicator and main warning indicator are flashing.
- Press and release the accelerator pedal three times.
- Make sure the charging system indicator is on continuously and the main warning indicator is off.
6. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
7. Initialize the battery (i-stop settings).
