The windshield wiper can only operate when the ignition switch is in the "ON" position (ignition on).
Warning! Since the wiper blades may freeze to the windshield, the wiper drive motor is protected from breakage, overheating and fire by a circuit breaker. The circuit breaker automatically switches off the wiper (for about 5 minutes). If this happens, move the windshield wiper control lever to the "Off" position and stop at the side of the road or at the edge of the roadway to remove snow and ice from the windshield and free the windshield wipers. After 5 minutes, move the windshield wiper control lever to the "On" position. The windshield wiper should resume operation.
Warning: Wait for weather conditions to improve before driving with a non-working windshield wiper. Pull over to the side of the road or curb immediately and stop safely.
Option A (with switch position "INT")
Turn on the cleaner by moving the lever to one of the lower positions:
- MIST - switching on the cleaner for one working cycle (non-fixed position);
- INT - intermittent operation mode;
- 1 - continuous mode at low speed;
- 2 - continuous mode at high speed.
To operate the windshield wiper for one cycle, lift the control lever to the non-locking "MIST" position and release the lever.
Option B (with the switch in the "AUTO" position)
[The article is copied from the resource: MazBook]
Turn on the cleaner by moving the lever to one of the lower positions:
- MIST - switching on the cleaner for one working cycle (non-fixed position);
- AUTO - automatic control of the cleaner;
- 1 - continuous mode at low speed;
- 2 - continuous mode at high speed.
To operate the windshield wiper for one cycle, lift the control lever to the non-locking "MIST" position and release the lever.
Automatic control of the cleaner
If you set the wiper control lever to the "AUTO" position, the wiper will turn on and off automatically based on the rain sensor signals. The frequency of the wiper strokes depends on the amount of precipitation on the windshield (the cleaner can operate in both intermittent and continuous modes at low or high speed).
