Adjusting the pause duration in intermittent wiper mode
Set the control lever to the "INT" position (Intermittent mode) and adjust the pause time between brush strokes by turning the regulator ring handle in the appropriate direction.

Automatic windshield wiper control
If the lever is in the "AUTO" position ("Automatic wiper control"), the windshield wiper will automatically turn on and off based on rain sensor signals. Depending on the intensity of precipitation, the windshield wiper may not work or may work intermittently or continuously with a low or high frequency of operating cycles.
The sensitivity of the rain sensor can be changed by turning the ring control on the windscreen wiper control lever. From the middle position (normal sensor sensitivity) turn the knob down to increase sensitivity, or up to decrease sensitivity.

Attention: Do not cover the rain sensor with anything (do not apply film or labels to the windshield in the area where the sensor is located). Otherwise, the sensor will not be able to work correctly.

Attention.
If the windscreen wiper control lever is set to the "AUTO" position and the ignition is on, the windscreen wiper may turn on automatically in the following cases:
- if you wipe the windshield above the rain sensor with a rag;
- if you hit the rain sensor with your hand or another object from outside or inside the car.
Be careful not to put your hands, brush or scraper near the windshield if the windshield wiper is set to automatic and the ignition is on. When the windshield wiper is turned on automatically, you can injure your fingers, and the brushes and arms of the windshield wiper can be mechanically damaged. If you are going to clean the windshield, make sure that the windshield wiper is completely turned off. This is especially important in winter, when it is necessary to clear the windshield of snow or ice - in these cases, as a rule, the engine is started and continues to run.
Note:
- If you move the lever from the "OFF" position to the "AUTO" position while driving, the wiper will turn on for one cycle and then operate according to the intensity of precipitation.
- The automatic wiper control mode may not operate if the rain sensor temperature is around -10°C or lower or around +85°C or higher.
- If the windshield is coated with a water-repellent compound, the rain sensor may incorrectly estimate the amount of precipitation on the glass. This may lead to disruption of the normal operation of the windshield wiper in automatic mode.
- If dirt or other foreign substances (for example, ice or road salt particles) stuck to the windshield above the rain sensor or the windshield is covered with frost, this may cause the windshield wiper to turn on automatically. However, if the wiper blades are unable to remove ice, dirt or other foreign matter from the glass, the automatic wiper control mode will turn off. In such cases, it is necessary to turn on the continuous wiper mode at low or high speed by moving the control lever to the appropriate position, or remove ice, dirt or other foreign matter manually before returning the wiper to automatic mode.
- If the automatic windshield wiper switch is left in the "AUTO" position, the windshield wipers may operate automatically when exposed to strong light sources, electromagnetic waves or infrared radiation, since the rain sensor uses signals from the light sensor. It is recommended to switch the automatic windshield wiper to the "OFF" position, except when driving in the rain.
- Automatic windshield wiper control can be switched off.
