Electric heated rear window



The electric rear window heater is designed to remove frost, condensation and thin ice crust.

The ignition switch must be in the "ON" position.

Press the switch to turn on the rear window electric heater. The electric heater turns on for about 15 minutes and then turns off automatically.

When the electric heater is operating, the corresponding indicator lights up.

To force the electric heater to turn off before 15 minutes have passed, press the switch again.

Caution: Do not use sharp scrapers or other objects, or abrasive glass cleaners to clean the inside surface of the rear window. This may damage the electrical mesh of the rear window defroster.




Note: The electric rear window heater is not designed to remove a thick layer of snow from the glass. If there is a layer of snow on the rear window, you must clear the glass of snow manually before turning on the electric heater.


Electric heated exterior mirrors



To turn on the electric heaters of the outside rearview mirrors, turn on the ignition and press the button of the electric heater switch of the rear window.
