Attention.
Follow these instructions to prevent damage to electrical outlets or damage to vehicle electrical equipment.
- It is forbidden to connect consumers with a power of more than 12 W to electrical outlets (voltage 12 V, direct current no more than 10 A).
- It is forbidden to plug in electrical sockets appliances that are not original Mazda accessories or are not fully equivalent to the latter. When electrical outlets are not in use, cover outlets to prevent splashing liquid or foreign objects from entering them.
- Make sure that the plug of the electrical appliance is correctly inserted into the socket.
- Do not plug the cigarette lighter into an electrical outlet.
Connecting some devices to the outlet may interfere with the audio system.
When connected to the outlet of some electrical appliances, they can affect the operation of the vehicle's electrical system, the battery charging system malfunction indicator may light up. In this case, turn off the appliance and check if the problem is solved. If the problem is solved, unplug the appliance and turn off the ignition. If the problem persists, contact an Authorized Mazda Dealer.
Note: To avoid discharging the battery, do not use the electrical outlet for extended periods of time when the engine is not running or when the engine is idling.
Connecting appliances to an electrical outlet
1. Open the storage compartment cover in the center console.
2. Pass the wire through the special cutout under the cover and insert the plug into an electrical outlet.
