Attention.
When opening the fuel filler cap, first unscrew the cap slightly and wait until the fuel vapors stop escaping, accompanied by a characteristic hissing sound. Then unscrew and remove the cap completely.
Fuel splashes are dangerous. Fuel can cause burns to the skin and eyes, and can cause poisoning if ingested. Fuel can splash out of the filler neck if there is excess pressure in the fuel tank and the filler cap is unscrewed and removed too quickly.
Before filling the fuel tank, turn off the engine and always ensure that there are no sparks or open flames near the filler neck. Do not smoke while filling the vehicle with fuel.
Fuel vapors are dangerous. Fuel vapors can easily ignite from sparks or open flames, causing severe burns and injury. Additionally, using a fuel cap that is not designed for your vehicle or not having a cap on the fuel filler neck can cause fuel to leak or splash, causing severe burns or death in the event of an accident.
Always use only the original Mazda-marked fuel filler cap or a fully equivalent product approved for use by Mazda. To purchase the cover, contact the service station of an authorized Mazda dealer. Installing a cover that is not intended for your vehicle may result in a malfunction of the engine power supply system, as well as the control system for harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
