Trunk lid/fuel filler flap release cables (Mazda Capella GE)

Removal

1. Disconnect the cable from the trunk lid lock.



2. Remove the trunk trim panels to access the cables. Disconnect the cable from the throttle lock (indicated by the arrow).

3. Remove the cables from the mountings.



4. Loosen the mounting screw (indicated by the arrow) and remove the trunk lid and fuel filler flap release handles. Disconnect the cables from the handles.

5. Tie a wire or thick thread to the end of the cable and pull the cable into the trunk.

Installation

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
