Note: If the wiper control is in the «OFF» («Turned off»), «INT» («Intermittent operation») / «AITO» («Auto mode»), then when the washer is turned on, the wiper will operate continuously until the lever is released.
Attention. To prevent premature wear of the wiper blades and/or surface wear and fogging of the windshield in the area where the wiper blades work, ensure that the wiper does not move on dry or semi-dry glass. If the intensity of the rain is low (or when driving on a wet road after rain), operate the windshield washer at the same time as the wiper to ensure that the windshield is sufficiently moistened. If the washer nozzles do not provide sufficient and uniform wetting of the windshield surface in the area of the wiper blades, contact an authorized Mazda dealer for troubleshooting.
If the washer does not work, check the fluid level in the washer reservoir. If the washer fluid level is normal, have the vehicle checked by an Authorized Mazda Dealer.
Note: Vehicles with headlight washers. If the headlights are on, the headlight washer will automatically turn on every fifth time the windshield washer is turned on.
