Press the lever away from you to turn on the high beam. To switch the headlights back to the low beam, press the lever towards you and return it to its original position (Fig. 1.60).

To signal with high beam headlights, push the lever towards you until it stops (Fig. 1.61). The rotary handle of the central light switch can be in any position. Release the lever and it will return to its original position (at this point the high beam headlights will turn off).
Headlight corrector
The number of passengers in the vehicle and the weight of the cargo carried in the luggage compartment affect the direction of the headlight beams in the vertical plane.
Automatic headlight corrector
The direction of the light beams is automatically adjusted when the headlights are switched on.
Manual headlight corrector

The corrector handwheel, located on the control panel, allows you to manually adjust the tilt of the optical axes of the headlights (Fig. 1.62).
Daytime running lights
Daytime running lights are turned on automatically when the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position (ignition on). Daytime running light mode is switched off when the side lights are switched on.
